In Franklin County, it is still a little early for gleaning. But it isn't too early to play in the dirt! So just like last year, our inaugural event will include gleaned transplants and recycled buckets in a great, big planting party. 

We'll be planting these herbs and vegetables in recycled 5 gallon bucket container gardens across the road from the Extension Office at 181 Franklin Farm Lane in Chambersburg, at the top of the hill.

Our wonderful Franklin County Master Gardeners will be showing us how to plant the herbs and veggies. The buckets will then be passed on to families through our regular produce distributing partners - improving fresh food access and grow-your-own-know-how.
