Every organization should be able to answer the question: What difference do you make? As we've built The Gleaning Project over the last few years, we think about this question all the time...

Take 1-2 full-time staff members in each county, give them some cold storage and a few donated vehicles. 

Add 122 farms, orchards and gardens.

Throw in 82 food banks, senior centers, free meals, pantries, and soup kitchens.

Multiply that times 1,100 energetic, dedicated & passionate volunteers.

And you get a community solution that provides fresh fruits and vegetables to 26,000 individuals spread across two counties who couldn't afford them otherwise.
